Volunteer at Sew on Fire

Sew on Fire has been one of GCF's missions partners for a very long time. As part of our November Missions Emphasis, we are aiming to assemble a team of 20 volunteers from GCF to tackle a bunch of items on Wendy Hagar's to-do-list at Sew on Fire's Burlington location.

Terri B. will be arranging carpooling from the church to the Burlington location (975 Fraser Drive Unit 6-7), so please indicate if you would like to be included in those arrangements.

Ability to sew is NOT required, but if you ARE able to sew, Wendy has some sewing work that she can assign to you, so please let us know if that's an option. (Bonus if you can bring your own sewing machine.)

We are also collecting the following items in a donation bin in the lobby during the last two weeks of October: baby shampoo; white wash cloths; Ivory-brand bar soap. These items will be added to baby layette packages.
